Last Poem

Last Poem I can't help but wonder about our last poem humanity's very final thought captured in verse handwritten or typed scrawled in desperation upon a wall pencil or pen pensively or sudden flash of inspired ink? will our final poem have a rhyme scheme or be about a scheme rhythm and organized or offbeat and offbeat audience of one the death of many famine or flames drowning or drought future or lost love? poetry itself: language and emotion lost to ones and zeroes? And this final poem this last poem of humankind --- will the poet know the weight of those words
