how does a man

trained in the art of war

and rescue

trade his M4

for what, a loaded tattoo gun

once causing, closing wounds

and closing eyes

in the field

for all, cemetery tears

skulls beneath roses

now he imbues the skin

skulls with roses

for the grieving

for the broken

to close the wounds within
